Thomas J. Evans

Thomas J. Evans, 62, of 219 W Market Street Apartment B Danville, PA  died Wednesday morning, October 20, 2004  at his residence.  He moved to Danville, PA in 1995 from Reynoldsville, PA .  He was born April 2, 1942 in McKeesport, PA the son of the late James and Lena Evans. 

He was employed as a mover by Sigmund Transfer of McKeesport, PA and later as a delivery truck driver for Montgomery Ward, Punxsutawney, PA.  Mr. Evans enjoyed walking, listening to music, plants and repairing clocks. 

He is survived by his wife of 33 years Donna Rollings Evans whom he married October 24, 1970.  He is also survived by one son, George Evans of Middletown, Ohio and two daughters Sherie Lynn Kephart, Middletown, Ohio and Dori A. Evans of Reynoldsville, PA; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by two sisters. 

A memorial service will be held Monday at 1:30 PM from the Visneski Funeral Home, Inc. 10 W.  Mahoning Street Danville, PA with the Reverend Dr. Martin Kessler officiating.  Burial will be private in Lakeland Memorial Park, Reynoldsville, PA.

Friends will be received from 12:00 Noon until the time of service at the funeral home.
