Betty M. Share, 77, of 119 Grand Street Danville, PA died Thursday afternoon, March 25, 2004 at her residence. 

She was born January 28, 1927 in Danville, PA the daughter of the late Harold E. and Ruth A. Young Walker. 

She graduated from Danville High School.  She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church Danville PA.  Mrs. Share was employed in the office of Kennedy Van Saun Danville, PA and also in the Housekeeping Department of Geisinger Medical Center where she retired in 1992.  Mrs. Share enjoyed walking, gardening and working outside.  She was especially fond of all her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death June 15th 2002 by her husband of  55 years Charles F. “Punk” Share whom she married September 28, 1946.  She is survived by one son, James F. Share, Sr. and wife Lou Ann of Riverside, PA; three grandchildren James F. Share, Jr. Abilene, Texas; Christine M. Keefer of Danville, PA and Kayla B. Share of Riverside, PA. and and three great grandchildren; Kelly Share, Alex Share and Miranda Keefer.  She is also survived by two sisters; Jean A. Haas and husband Francis E “Dutch” of Danville, PA and Lois J. Cooke and husband Luther Lee of Danville, PA. She is also survived by a sister-in-law Loretta Share Huntington Danville, PA.   Also surviving are nieces and nephews. 

Funeral services will be held Monday, March 29, 2004 at 1:00 PM from the Miller-Visneski Funeral Home 10 West Mahoning Street Danville, PA with her pastor the Reverend Marjorie E. Weiss officiating.  Burial will follow in the Fairview Cemetery Danville, PA.  Friends will be received from 12:00 until the time of service.  Memorial contributions may be made to the Trinitiy Lutheran Church Building Fund East Market Street and Church Streets Danville, PA  17821.
