Stella Lucille Fasold, 100, of Danville PA
passed away peacefully on February 1, 2021 at Grandview Nursing and
Rehabilitation in Danville PA. She was born November 15, 1920 the daughter
of the late Martin Luther and Stella Reibsome Fox.
She graduated from Danville High School.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 55
years, Donald F. Fasold who preceded her in death March 9, 1996.
She was a member of Trinity United Methodist
Church Danville PA.
Lucille was a devoted homemaker for most of her
life. She worked part-time at Kennedy Van Saun during World War II while
her husband was serving in the United States Navy. She loved oil painting,
especially still life and landscape. Lucille’s life was centered around
home, family and friends. She loved to cook and bake and always showed
gracious hospitality to all who came through her door.
She is survived by two sons: Donald W. Fasold
and his wife, Pat of Danville PA and James E. Fasold, also of Danville PA.
She is also surviving by three grandchildren; Bryan S. Fasold and his wife
Jada; Jennifer F. Trimble and her husband Christopher and Amanda Lewis and
her husband Kenneth, all of Danville PA and seven great-grandchildren;
Kortney, Matthew, Elizabeth, Rebecca, JoElle, Johnathan and Nolan. Also
surviving is one brother, Charles Fox and his wife Theresa of Florida and
Dorothy Rohrbach of Danville PA as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
A Private Celebration of Lucille’s Life will be
held Friday, February 12, 2021 at 2:00 PM at Visneski Funeral Home, Inc. 42
West Mahoning Street Danville PA with the Reverend David Layser
officiating. With respect to Covid-19 restrictions, friends and family may
view her service remotely by Facebook Livestream at
www.facebook.com/visneskifh. Burial will
be private in Fairview Cemetery.
