Nancy J. Kase Hendrickson, 83, of Danville PA
passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 27, 2021 at Sunset Ridge Health
Care in Bloomsburg PA. She was born April 25, 1937 in Danville PA the
daughter of the late Robert and Martha Kase.
She graduated from Danville High School in
1955.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 61
years, Russell Hendrickson, Sr. in September of 2016.
Nancy was employed as a psychiatric aide at
Danville State Hospital for many years, from where she retired.
She was a member of Hendrickson United
Methodist Church Danville PA.
Nancy loved being outdoors gardening and
planting flowers to watch as they grew. She also enjoyed traveling.
Spending time with her family was her greatest joy in life. Nancy touched
so many lives with her sweet, caring and thoughtful presence and will be
dearly missed.
She is survived by two sons; Russell
Hendrickson, Jr. and his wife Wendy and Robert Hendrickson and his wife
Dorothy and one daughter, Mary Ann Toomey and her husband Bill; all of
Danville PA. Also surviving are six grandchildren; Wade, Craig, Todd, Kyle,
Billy and Brian as well as nine great-grandchildren; Jared, Caden, Talyn,
William, Kolden, Blaine, Ava, Drew and Emeri. One sister-in-law, Mary Kase
of Millville, also survives as well as several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by two brothers:
Bill and Robert and one sister, Marian.
A Celebration of Nancy’s life will be held at
a later time. Burial will be in Hendrickson United Methodist Cemetery.
A special heartfelt thank you to grandson,
Todd, for his tender loving kindnesses taking care of Nancy after the death
of her husband.
