June A. Savage, 65, of Danville PA.  passed away unexpectedly on May 18, 2021 in Danville PA. She was born March 20, 1956 the daughter of the late William C. and Carol Bittenbender Savage.

She graduated from Danville Area Senior High School in 1974.  She also graduated from the Lehigh Valley Healing Arts Center in September of 1996.

She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church Danville PA and the International Massage Association.

June’s high school yearbook quote sums up her mindset “I’m not in this world to live up to your expectations”.  She fashioned her life after her idol, Janis Joplin-“There’s a fire inside every one of us---I better use it until the day I die.”  June loved traveling to Aruba annually.  She also loved traveling with her cousin Nathaniel and exploring many parts of the United States by car.

June was always generous, nonjudgmental, never pretentious, kind to all living creatures and a friend to all.

She is survived by her cousins, Kelly S. Fox of Danielsville PA and Nathaniel Holdren of Livingston Montana.  She is also survived by her lifetime friends, Dawn and Mur Johnson and her good friend and neighbor, Barry Koser.

Services and burial will be private at the convenience of the family.
