Elaine L.
Fetterman Rhone, of Bloomsburg PA passed away peacefully on Saturday,
January 30, 2021 at her residence. She was born on September 17, 1939 in
Bloomsburg, PA the daughter of the late Lawrence Edgar (Jim) and Eleanor (Singley)
Fetterman. She graduated in 1957 from Catawissa High School, Catawissa, PA.
She was preceded
in death by her husband of 58 years, Laurence L. Rhone on October 23, 2017.
They were married September 19, 1959. He served as a sergeant with the
United States Army National Guard, Howitzer Battery.
She was a member
of Saint Peter’s Union Church (Harger’s), Bloomsburg PA. Another
membership included being a Gold Star Member of the Order of Eastern Star,
Catawese Chapter, formerly serving as secretary. During her life, she worked
for several insurance companies in the Bloomsburg area including
Harleysville Insurance, Columbia Accident and Health, and State Farm.
Elaine was a
devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She enjoyed playing dominoes with
friends, the Bloomsburg Fair, and spending time with family. She volunteered
by creating more than 20,000 memorials on the genealogy website, Find a
Grave.
She is survived by
two daughters: Barbara Rhone Davis and her husband Trell of Bernville, PA
and Denise Rhone of Catawissa, PA. She had two grandsons, Connor and Landon
Davis of Bernville, PA.
Also surviving is
her brother the Reverend James Fetterman and his husband Ildefonso
Gonzalez-Rivera of Oakland Park, FL.
Services will be
private and at the convenience of the family. Memorial contributions may be

Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place,
Memphis, TN 38105.
