Anna Mae Henry

Anna Mae Henry, 88, of Danville PA went home to be with her Lord and Savior at Grandview Health Homes in Danville PA on Thursday, September 17, 2020.  She was born December 8, 1931 in Danville PA the daughter of the late William T. and Catherine M. Mears Henry 

She graduated from Danville High School in 1951. 

She was employed as a clerk at W.T. Grant, a laborer for TRW and worked in the Laundry Department at Danville State Hospital, from where she retired. 

Anna was a member of Mahoning Presbyterian Church in Danville PA for many years and attended Grove Presbyterian Church. 

Anna enjoyed Art and loved to draw and paint.  She was an excellent cook and baker.  She loved people, loved to socialize, and she will be missed by many.  

She is survived by two sisters; Mary “Louise” Livingston and Diane M. Henry; both of Danville PA. Also surviving are three nieces, one nephew, three great-nephews and three great-nieces. She was preceded in death by three sisters: Frances E. Jacobs, Ruth A. Henry and Katie Henry. 

A Celebration of Anna’s life will be held at the convenience of the family.   

Memorial contributions may be made to the Danville SPCA 1467 Bloom Road Danville PA. 

Arrangements are under the direction of the Visneski Funeral Home, Inc. 42 West Mahoning Street Danville PA 17821.
