Ronald J Miller, 86, of Danville PA went home
to be with his Lord and Savior at his residence on December 20, 2020. He
was born January 10, 1934 in Steelville PA, the son of Edna Harriet Rothrock.
He is survived by his devoted wife of 28
years, JoAnn Kelley Miller. They were married June 13, 1992 at Christ
Wesleyan Church in Milton PA.
Ron served his country in the United States
Army in Korea and received the National Defense Service Medal, Korean SVC
Metal with one bronze star and the UN SVC Medal.
He worked as a mail carrier for the United
States Postal Service for 34 years, from where he retired.
He was an active member of the Victory Baptist
Church in Bloomsburg PA where he served his Lord in various ways including
teaching Sunday School and Jr. Church. He also served with the Bus
Ministry.
In his earlier days, Ron was an accomplished
pool shooter. He loved history and he also was an avid reader. He will be
greatly missed for his sense of humor and mild manner. He had a kind heart,
sensitive disposition and loved his family.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by
four sons: Bob Miller, Ron Miller, Nathan Miller and Gary Mordan as well as
his grandson Ryan and granddaughter, Meadow Ann. He was preceded in death
by his son, Rick Miller.
Services and burial will be private at the
convenience of the family with full military honors.
