Bonnie Ann LeVan, 76, of Riverside, PA passed
away peacefully on Tuesday evening, July 14, 2020 at her residence. Bonnie
was born on January 20, 1944 in Danville PA, the daughter of the late John
L. and Anna E. Weaver Trump. She was the last member of her immediate
family.
Bonnie graduated from Danville High School in
1961.
She is survived by her devoted husband of 59
years, Robert R. LeVan. They were married January 27, 1961
She was employed as a Medical Secretary in the
Cardiology Department for over 25 years at Geisinger Medical Center, from
where she retired.
Bonnie was a member of St. Peter’s United
Methodist Church in Riverside PA where she served as a Sunday School teacher
in previous years.
An avid outdoorswoman, she enjoyed nature,
hunting, fishing and watching bluebirds. One of her favorite past times was
to travel with her husband to Western PA to see the Pennsylvania Elk.
Bonnie enjoyed ceramics and she loved cooking for her family, canning
jellies, and baking pies for her husband. She was well known for her
macaroni salad. Her family was the center of her life including her
children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Her faithful Labrador
companions, Libby, Nugget and Roxie were very dear to her heart. A breast
cancer survivor, she lived her life with dignity and grace and will be
greatly missed by all who knew her.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by
three sons; Steven W. LeVan and his wife Bridget of Danville PA; Michael E.
LeVan and his wife Beatriz and Robert J. LeVan and his wife Jayme; both of
Elysburg PA. Also surviving are 9 grandchildren; Steven and his
significant other Chantal, Torie, Kelsey, Brandon and his wife Lauryn, Nick,
Taylor, Marissa, Madlyn and Sarah and 4 great-grandchildren; Todd, Kale,
Hayden and Lane as well as several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in
death by one brother, Lawrence Trump and two sisters: Mary Buckley and
Bernice Ryan.
Services and burial will be private.
