December 20, 2019

Paul E. Edmeads, 91, of Danville PA went home to be with his Lord and Savior on December 18, 2019.   He was born June 2, 1928 in Vineland NJ,  the son  of the late Morris and Florence Rugh Edmeads.

He was a farmer for most of his life.  He was employed by the Danville Area School District as a custodian for several years, from where he retired.

He loved working outdoors and was usually found to be on his tractor keeping immaculate care of his surroundings.  Paul loved attending tractor shows and was very knowledgeable on the history of the area.  He also loved to putter on anything of interest to him.  Paul was a good, honest man and was known for his dry sense of humor and for delivering one-liners at the perfect moment with a knowing grin.

He was preceded in death by his devoted wife of 42 years, Helen Bailor Edmeads on June 7, 2013.  They were married September 5, 1970.

Paul is survived by two nephews; Scott E. Edmeads and his wife Mary and Dennis E. Edmeads and his wife Bonnie; all of Danville PA.  Also surviving is one niece, Robin Gold of Knoxville Tennessee; two great-nephews and two great-nieces.

He was preceded in death by two brothers; Ralph and Raymond Edmeads.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Paulís life to be held on Saturday, January 11, 2020 at 11:00 AM at Visneski Funeral Home, Inc. 42 West Mahoning Street Danville PA with the Reverend Dawes J. Dunham officiating.  Friends will be received from 10:00 AM until the time of service.  A private graveside service was held in the Newport Cemetery in Newport PA.
