Larry Edward Fry

Larry Edward Fry, 78, of Danville PA went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Tuesday February 5, 2019 at Geisinger Medical Center Danville PA.  He was born May 11, 1940 in Bloomsburg PA the son of the late Harold E. and Betty J. Yeager Fry.  

He was preceded in death by his wife of 51 years, Donna Mae Heimbach Fry on October 17, 2015.  They were married March 14, 1964. 

Larry was employed for over 40 years at Geisinger Medical Center Danville PA in the Facilities Department.  He lived a humble life, thoroughly enjoying farming and doing tractor repair.   

He was a member of First Baptist Church Danville PA and a former member of the Nittany Antique Machinery Association. 

Larry will be greatly remembered for his sense of humor and loving, friendly smile.  He was a loyal and devoted husband, father and grandfather.  He enjoyed going to antique tractor shows with his wife and meeting and talking to people wherever he went.  His faith and his family were the foundation of his life 

He is survived by two sons; Larry A. Fry, Sr. and his wife Terri of Bloomsburg PA and Kevin Fry and his wife April of Lehighton PA.  Also surviving are four grandchildren; Larry, Jr, Olivia, Koen and Amber.  He is also survived by four brothers; Ronnie, Robert, Harold and Jeff and three sisters; Linda Bittner, Barbara Shultz and Sally Hess.  Numerous nieces and nephews also survive him.  In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by one brother, Dennis Fry. 

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Larry’s Life to be held Monday, February 11, 2019 at 11:00 AM at First Baptist Church 12 Brookside Drive Danville PA (Off 642 East) with his pastor the Reverend Dawes J. Dunham officiating. Friends will be received from 9:30AM until 10:45 AM. Burial will be held in Grovania Cemetery in Cooper Township Danville PA.  The family will provide flowers.  Memorial contributions may be made to First Baptist Church 12 Brookside Drive Danville PA 17821.
