Elaine Louise Venarchick, 63, of Danville PA
was welcomed into the arms of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on December
23, 2019 at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville PA. She was born December
31, 1955 in Bloomsburg PA the daughter of Lester Gordon Carr and Pauline
Smedley Hesbacher; both of Danville PA.
She graduated from Danville High School in
Elaine is survived by her devoted husband of 47
years, Paul D. Venarchick. They were married February 26, 1972.
Elaine attended Christ Wesleyan Church in
She loved Disney, especially Tinkerbell. Her
other interests included sewing, knitting and crocheting. She was an avid
reader. The greatest joy in her life was spending time with her children
and grandchildren whom she adored.
Elaine will always be remembered for her
effervescent, kind and selfless personality which resulted from a strong
faith, her confidence in Christ and her biblical standards. Throughout her
battle with cancer, her quiet and unpresuming strength leaves behind many
who are immensely thankful for her presence in their lives and inspired by

husband, she is survived by one son; Brian Venarchick and his wife Sarah of
Mountainville NY and two daughters; Robin Valiquette and her husband Gary of
Watsontown PA and Rebecca Hawley and her husband Wayne of Turbotville PA.
Also surviving are her grandchildren; Chelsey Houseknecht, Aimee Hauck,
Cassandra Valiquette, Keaton and Evan Venarchick and Belanna and Daniel
Hawley as well as two great-granddaughters; Isabella Lamade and Evelynne
Grace Hauck. She is also survived by her sister, Diane Marie Buck and her
husband Alan of Colorado Springs CO; as well as numerous nieces and
A Celebration of Elaine’s life will be held on
Saturday, December 28, 2019 at 2:00 PM at Christ Wesleyan Church 363 Stamm
Road Milton PA 17847 in the Davis Chapel with the Reverend Arlie Davis
officiating. Friends will be received from 1:00 to 1:45 PM at the church.
Burial will be private in Columbia Hill Cemetery Danville PA.
