Joseph William Dougal, Jr.

January 4, 2018

Joseph William Dougal, Jr. 76, of Danville, PA passed away peacefully on December 25, 2017 at Geisinger Medical Center Danville PA.   He was born March 30, 1941 in Tower City PA, the son of the late Joseph William, Sr.  and Elsie Brown Dougal. 

Joe served his country as a career veteran for over 21 years in the United States Air Force.  He was a Master Sergeant working as a mechanic. 

He was married for 23 years to Wanda A. Gary Dougal.  They were married August 14, 1994. 

Joe spent a lot of his time on his computer which he thoroughly enjoyed.  He also enjoyed hunting.  His greatest joy in life was spending time with his family. 

In addition to his wife, he is survived by three daughters; Michelle Wilson of Danville VA; Ann Michaud of Maine and Faith Griffeth of Ontario Canada as well as eight grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren.  Also surviving is his sister, Arlene David of Florida and numerous nieces and nephews.   

He was preceded in death by one brother, Larry Fessler and one sister, Alice Haddock. 

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Graveside Service to be held June 4th, 2018 at 3:00 PM at the Union Cemetery in Pillow PA.   

Memorial contributions may be made to the Danville SPCA 1467 Bloom Road Danville PA  17821.
