Richard D. Kile

October 27, 2018

Richard D. Kile, 77. of Danville, PA passed away on Friday, October 26,-2018 at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.  He was born April 16, 1941 in Bloomsburg PA, the son of the late Carl and Margaret Hittle Kile.

He graduated from Central Columbia High School.

He is survived by his wife, Brenda Oberdorf Kile. They would have celebrated their 49
th wedding anniversary next month on November 8th.

Richard was employed as a machine operator by Milco Industries in Bloomsburg for 38 years and then for Krum Orchards in Catawissa for 12 years, from where he retired. He attended Christ United Church in Catawissa.

adored his dog, Maggie, who was his faithful companion through the years. A dedicated and faithful family man, his greatest joy in life was spending time with them all, especially his grandchildren.

In addition to
his wife; he is survived by one daughter, Amy Walters and Wesley of Danville PA and two grandchildren; Chloe and Jarrett Walters of Danville PA. Also surviving is one brother, Leroy Kile of Catawissa; his sister- in- law Dianne Vanderslice and his best friend Philip Tomko. He was preceded in death by several brothers and sisters.

Services will be private and
held at the convenience of the family.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Danville SPCA 1467 Bloom Road Danville PA 17821.
