Bonnie L. High

May 22, 2018

Bonnie L. High, 57, of Coal Township PA, passed away peacefully and made her journey home to her Lord on Monday, May 21, 2018 at Geisinger Medical Center Danville PA. She was born January 19, 1961 in Sunbury PA, the daughter of the late Earl R. and Jenny Weaver Fetterman. 

Bonnie graduated from Danville High School in 1980.   

She was married for 29 years to her surviving husband, David Richard High.  They were married May 6, 1989. 

Bonnie was employed as a Teacher’s Aide for the Danville Area School District for 10 years. 

She was a devoted member of Victory Bible Church in Paxinos PA where she served in the kitchen and in the Nursery which was a great joy to her. 

Bonnie will be warmly remembered for her faith in the Lord Jesus Christ and enjoyed learning as much as she could from the Bible.  She loved helping people, especially children, quietly helping them as the needs became known.  She will be remembered as an encourager and for her servant heart. 

In addition to her husband, she is survived by one brother Earl Edward Fetterman of Elysburg PA and one nephew, Richard Thomas Fetterman from whom she gained much joy. 

She was preceded in death by one sister, Katie Marie Fetterman on August 22, 2009. 

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Remembrance of Bonnie’s life and Commemoration of her Homegoing to be held on Friday, May 25, 2018 at 11:00 AM at the Victory Bible Church 4983 Snydertown Road Paxinos PA with her Pastor Kevin Kline officiating.  Friends will be received at the church on Thursday evening from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM and on Friday from 10:00AM – 10:45 AM.  Burial will follow after the service in the Orchard Hills Cemetery in Shamokin Dam PA. 

The family will provide flowers.  Memorial contributions in her memory may be made to the church.
