Barbara A. Zimmerman

April 24, 2018

Barbara A. Zimmerman, 84, of Lewisburg, PA, passed away peacefully on Monday, April 23, 2018 at the home of her daughter in Northumberland PA.   She was born August 15, 1933 in Danville, PA the daughter of the late Clayton and Lucy Reiley Temple.   

Barbara graduated from Danville Area High School. 

She was previously married to the Late Darwin Lee Campbell and to Clair Zimmerman, who survives. 

Barbara was a homemaker for all of her life.  She enjoyed crafting, ceramics, flower arranging and gardening and especially enjoyed interior decorating.  Barbara will be remembered by all who knew and loved her for her beautiful selfless spirit, her love for her family and friends and her unwavering love for animals, especially her dogs.  She leaves behind many who are thankful for her presence in their lives and inspired by her example. 

She was of the Presbyterian faith. 

In addition to her husband, she is survived by two daughters; LuAnn Greely and her husband Terry of Northumberland PA and Laurie Kay English and her husband Gary of Riverside PA and three sons; Darwin Lee Campbell, Jr. of Illinois; Daniel E. Campbell and his wife Ida M. of Berwick PA and Jeffrey Scott Campbell of Georgia.  Also surviving are several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  She is also survived by two brothers; Edward Temple and his wife Elaine of Danville PA and Reds Temple of Florida and one sister, Pat Broadt, as well as several nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by one brother, Delmar Temple. 

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Graveside Service to be held Friday, April 27, 2018 at 11:00 AM at Odd Fellows Cemetery Danville PA with the Reverend Robert Barner officiating.   

 The family will provide flowers.  Memorial contributions may be made to The Danville SPCA 1467 Bloom Road Danville PA  17821.
