Robert Harold Cooper, Jr.

Robert Harold Cooper, Jr., 64, of Danville, PA; formerly of Mifflinburg; passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 21, 2017 at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.   He was born August 18, 1953 in Bloomsburg, PA; the son of the late Robert Harold, Sr. and Doris R. Oberdorf Cooper. 

Robert graduated from Columbia Montour Area Vocational-Technical School in 1971. 

He was employed at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville, in the cafeteria for a few years and went on to Cabinet Works as a finish sprayer and then to the Pennsylvania House. 

Robert was a member of the Mifflinburg Moose.

He enjoyed watching football, bowling and was an avid NASCAR fan cheering on Jeff Gordon. 

Robert is survived by one brother; Gary L. Cooper and his wife Barbara A. of Danville,. He is also survived by two nephews; Nicholas A. Cooper of New Jersey and Christopher A. Cooper of Washington. 

Robert was preceded in death by two brothers; Edward E. Cooper and Frederick A. Cooper. 

Services will be held at the convenience of the family.
