Regetta Dawn Williams

Regetta Dawn Williams, 88, of Danville PA passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 7, 2017 at Geisinger Home Health and Hospice at Maria Hall in Danville PA   She was born at home on January 26, 1929 in West Hemlock Township, Montour County PA the daughter of the late Reginald and Marietta Mowery Shultz. 

Regetta was employed by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Department of Transportation in Harrisburg PA for 30 years from where she retired. 

After her retirement in 1997, she relocated back to Danville PA where she was employed by the Danville News and enjoyed working at Knoebelís Amusement Park in Elysburg PA. 

She was a member of St. Paulís Emmanuel United Methodist Church Danville PA and enjoyed attending the Danville/Tri-county After 5 Supper Parties.  She was also a member of the Women of the Moose in Danville. 

Regetta will be well known for the warmth that she extended to many people over her life.  She was a spirited and fun-loving person who also enjoyed traveling.   

She is survived by three brothers; Dale E. Shultz and his wife Virginia of Danville PA; Larue O. Shultz of Danville PA and Richard F. Shultz and his wife Kathie of Danville PA and one sister; Patricia K. Dill and her husband Joseph of Bloomsburg PA.  Also surviving are numerous nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by two brothers; Walter and Donald Shultz and one sister, Gloria Mottern. 

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Service to be held Monday, November 13, 2017 at 11:00 AM at St. Paulís Emmanuel United Methodist Church 417 Pine Street Danville PA with Pastor Greg Molter officiating.  Burial will be private in the Columbia Hill Cemetery Danville PA at the convenience of the family. 

Memorial contributions may be made to Geisinger Home Health and Hospice 410 Glenn Avenue Suite 200 Bloomsburg PA  17815 or to the church.
