Maybelle C. Reamer

June 19, 2017

Maybelle C. Reamer, 90, of Riverside PA passed away on Sunday, June 18, 2017 at Emmanuel Nursing Center at Maria Joseph Danville PA.  She was born May 19, 1927 in Riverside PA the daughter of the late Calvin Christian and Bertha Mae Rudy Ryan. 

She graduated from Danville High School. 

Maybelle was employed at Roselon Yarns for several years and by Geisinger Medical Center in the Dietary Department from where she retired in 1991. 

She was a member of St. Peterís United Methodist Church Riverside PA where she was on the Bowling Team and served by donating food to various dinner functions there. 

Maybelle was an avid bowler, loved to read and enjoyed crossword puzzles.  She was a dedicated and loyal Philadelphia Phillies fan faithfully keeping stats on the players for each game. 

Her greatest enjoyment in life was spending time with her family.  

She is survived by two sons; John Reamer and his wife Cathy of Riverside PA; Daniel Reamer of Danville PA, and four daughters; Cathleen Reamer of York PA; Roxanne Kremser and her husband Guy of Catawissa PA; Linda Bender and her husband Ed of York PA, and Joyce Keister and her husband Randy of Riverside PA.  Also surviving are 10  grandchildren; Nicole and her husband Chris,  Shane, Kimberly and her husband Mark, Bryan, Stacy and her husband Matt, Lydia and her husband Will, Kiley, Eddie, Blair, Derrick and his wife Christa and 11 great-grandchildren.  Also surviving are numerous nieces and nephews. 

She was preceded in death by six brothers and three sisters. 

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Maybelleís Life to be held on Thursday, June 22, 2017 at 11:00 AM at St. Peterís United Methodist Church 240 Sunbury Road Riverside PA with the Reverend Dr. Donald N. Hurley officiating. Friends will be received from 9:30 AM until 10:45 AM at the church. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family in Kase Cemetery Riverside PA.

The family will provide flowers.  Memorial Contributions may be made to St. Peter's United Methodist Church PO Box 428 Riverside PA 17868.
