Maryann P. Puccio, 71, of 11 Crabtree Lane Lewisburg PA went home to be with
her Lord on Wednesday, August 2, 2017 at Maria Hall Geisinger Hospice. She
was born June 29, 1946 in New York City NY the daughter of the late Frank
and Mary Amoroso Vasir.
was married for 49 years to Anthony Puccio. They were married October 27,
Maryann graduated from Saddle Brook High School in Saddle Brook NJ in 1964.
held numerous secretarial positions for several companies throughout her
life. Locally, she was employed in the Wound Clinic and the Purchasing
Dept. at Evangelical Community Hospital in Lewisburg PA.
Maryann was an active member of First Baptist Church of Danville. She
served faithfully on the Flower Committee and was always available with her
servant heart wherever there was a need. She was also a Deaconess and
thoroughly enjoyed participating in Ladies Bible Study.
loved to plan vacations and spend each of them with her husband. Maryann
loved listening to music, especially contemporary Christian music. Her
greatest enjoyment in life was spending time with her family. Maryann will
be remembered for her beautiful smile, her vivacious spirit, and her
never-ending love of her family and her friends.
survived by one son; Anthony John Puccio and his wife Christine of Lewisburg
PA and two daughters; Michele Anzivino and her husband Ross of Cooper City
FL and Maria Weiner and her husband Joseph of Rockville MD. Also surviving
are eight grandchildren whom she adored; Morgan, Nicole, Jonathan, Reese,
Claire, Gianna, Dominic and Christian. She is also survived by one brother,
Mel Vasi of New Jersey and one sister, Theresa Raimo of Sayreville NJ as
well as numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was
preceded in death by one brother, Frank Vasi.
friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Maryann’s Life to be held on
Friday, August 4, 2017 at 11:00 AM at First Baptist Church 20 Brookside
Drive (Off 642 East) Danville PA with the Reverend Dawes J. Dunham
officiating. Friends will be received from 9:30 AM until 10:45 AM. The
family will provide flowers. Memorial Contributions may be made to First
Baptist Church Fellowship Fund.
