Marie Regina Lahout

September 15, 2017

Marie Regina Lahout, 56, of Danville, PA passed away on Tuesday, September 5, 2017 at her residence. She was born July 15, 1961 in Danville, PA the daughter of the late Peter and Jean Lisiewicz Lahout. 

Marie is survived by one daughter; Tiffany M. Keszkowski and her husband Nevin of Berwick, PA and two sons; Jason A. Hall of Nescopeck, PA and Christopher P. Hall and his fiancé Amanda M. Daubert of Berwick, PA. Seven grandchildren also survive her; Haley, Jonathan, Hayden, Briar, Caydance, Rhyleigh, and Kyleigh. Also surviving are four sisters; Sandy Kasper of Corry, PA; Mary Ahl of Danville, PA, Ann Crawford of Danville, PA and Patricia Hoover of Danville, PA and four brothers; Joe Lahout of Camp Hill, PA; David Lahout; Frank Kasper of Meadeville, PA and Dan Kasper. Marie is also survived by her life partner and love of her life, Fred Iobst of Danville. 

Marie was preceded in death by one sister, Regina “Jeannie” Lahout and one brother Rick Hoover. 

She attended St. Joseph School and graduated from St. Cyril Academy in Danville, PA. 

Marie was employed as a restaurant cook for various businesses for many years. 

She enjoyed NASCAR, cooking, bicycling, the beach, and her many cats. Marie enjoyed rooting for Notre Dame Football and Indianapolis Colts.  She loved spending time with her grandchildren. Marie is remembered by her family as a free-spirited, caring, and unique soul.  

The family would like to express their deepest gratitude to Dr. Ksenia Orlova, MD, staff and faculty at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville, PA.
