Clyde Minnier, 43, of 2065 Brush Valley Road Sunbury PA went home to be with
his Lord and Savior, surrounded by his family, on Monday evening, June 5,
2017. He was born July 18, 1973 in Danville PA the son of Norman E. and
Kathy M. Kerstetter Minnier.
married for 20 years to his high school sweetheart and love of his life, Amy
Whyne Minnier. They were married on August 10, 1996.
graduated from Northumberland Christian School in 1992. Macy received his
Bachelor of Science Degree from Shippensburg University in 1995 and his
Masters Degree in Education from Bloomsburg University.
was employed as a Math teacher for Shikellamy School District for 12 years
where he was also a basketball coach and the Advisor for Fellowship of
Christian Athletes. He was previously employed as a teacher at
Northumberland Christian School for one year, Bel Air High School in
Maryland for three years as well as Millersburg High School for five years.
He was well known by his students for teaching and coaching from his heart,
not the book.

be most remembered by his selfless life, always thinking and caring for
everyone else first and foremost. To
his family, friends and students, he was a champion throughout his illness
which was noteworthy through the Miles for Macy Charity Walk for the past
two years at Shikellamy High School. At the end of each day, he lived his
life for his Lord, his wife, his children and his family whom he adored.

Northumberland PA and one sister, Mindy N. DePinto and her husband Justin of
Sunbury PA along with his sister-in-law Jessica L. Lahr and her husband
Heath of Sunbury PA.
surviving are several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. He is also
survived by his mother-in-law and father-in-law; James T. and Carol L. Whyne
of Sunbury PA.
friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Macy’s Life to be held on
Saturday, June 17, 2017 at Lewisburg Alliance Church 137 Supplee Mill Road
Lewisburg PA at 12’clock Noon with his pastor, the Reverend Dr. Rubens Ruba
officiating and assisted by Macy’s close friend, the Reverend Chad Brewer of
Irvine CA. Friends will be received from 9:00 AM until 11:45 AM at the
church. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family
