Kerry E. Nicol

Kerry E. Nicol, 54, of 22 Hillside Road Danville, PA, passed away peacefully Tuesday, February 7, 2017, at her residence. She was born October 29, 1962, in Claremore, Oklahoma, the daughter of the late Leo McGraw and Betty Greenfeather of Oklahoma City, OK, who survives. 

She was married for 20 years to John W. Nicol, who survives. They were married on August 11, 1996. 

Kerry graduated from Central High School in Tulsa, OK in 1979 and from UBAVC College in Vernal, UT in 1987. 

In earlier years, Kerry was employed as a security officer while living in Utah.  After her move from New Jersey to Danville in 2001, she was a dedicated and committed homemaker for her family. 

Kerry was a deep spiritual person who loved being in nature’s surroundings, enjoyed gardening, and adored her many pets that she raised.  She loved working with her hands making jewelry and several other crafts. 

Her family was at the heart of all she did and many loving memories will be cherished by those who survive. 

In addition to her mother and her husband, she is survived by one son, Nicholas C. Nicol, at home and one daughter; Amber J. Smith and her husband Rodman B. of Boonsboro Maryland.  She is also survived by three sisters; Kelly Tompkins, Keila Greenfeather, and Brandy Francis; all of Oklahoma City, OK and her grandmother, Eldee Green also of Oklahoma City, OK.  Also surviving are two nephews and one niece. 

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Visitation Time of Celebrating Kerry’s Life to be held on Saturday, February 11, 2017, from 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM at Visneski Funeral Home, Inc. 10 West Mahoning Street Danville, PA. 

The family will provide flowers. Memorial Contributions may be made to Animal Resource Center c/o Linda Bird 301 A Boone Road Bloomsburg PA  17815.
