James F. Share

February 16, 2016

James F. Share, 62, of Danville, PA passed away Monday morning, February 15, 2016 at his residence. He was born September 13, 1953 in Danville PA the son of the late  Charles F. "Punk" and Betty Walker Share.

He graduated from Danville High School in 1971. 

He served his country as a Corpsman for the United States Navy during the Vietnam War.  

Jim was married to Lou Ann Hackett Share for 20 years.  They were married August 29, 1995. 

He was employed as an Ophthalmology Technician at Geisinger Medical Center for 20 years. 

He enjoyed hunting and camping. 

In addition to his wife, he is also survived by one son; James F. Share, Jr. of Arizona and two daughters; Christine M. Keefer and her husband Terry of Danville PA and Kayla B. Shepperson and her husband Shane of Montana.  Also surviving are two step-daughters; Christine Showers of Winfield PA and Lindsey Corbin of Port Trevorton PA.  Also surviving are nine grandchildren whom he adored. 

In abiding with Jim's expressed request, there will be no services.
