Reverend Charles F.S. Stamm

December 15, 2015

Reverend Charles F.S. Stamm, 85, of Riverside PA went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Sunday, December 13, 2015 at his residence.  He was born November 19, 1930 in Mali, West Africa, the son of the late Charles F. and Sadie Klopfenstein Stamm, missionaries to Africa for 40 years under the Christian and Missionary Alliance. 

Chuck went to school at Mamou School in Africa.  He graduated from Bob Jones University, Nyack College, University of Rochester and NY State University at Oneonta.  He served as the pastor of the Danville Christian and Missionary Alliance for seven years.  Chuck also taught school at Catasauqua Pa and was the elementary guidance counselor in the Danville Area School District. 

He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Norene Hodes Stamm whom he married Nov. 8, 1958. 

Chuck enjoyed serving as the Chaplain of the Lord's Disciple's of Christian Motorcyclist Association for over 20 years.  The passion of his life was his family and he was a faithful supporter of them.  He will be well remembered by many as an encourager and for his loving heart for God. 

In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons; Brett Charles and his wife Karen Weidman Stamm and their seven children; David and his wife Christine Gabel Stamm; Matthew and his wife Ashley Landis Stamm, Nathan and his wife Caitlyn Bomberger Stamm, Timothy, Noah, Alanna and Caleb of New Columbia and his other son, Brian David Stamm and his wife Lori Mills Stamm of Cashton, Wisconsin and their seven children; Tyler, Bethany, Luke, Enoch, Hannah, Noah and Kai.  Also surviving is one daughter; Becky Kim (Jung Ah Kim) Stamm.  He is also survived by one great grandson, Abel Christian Stamm. 

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Doris, who died in Africa. 

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a graveside service to be held
