Linda J. Lechner

May 29, 2015

Linda J. Lechner, 67, of 1012 Avenue G, Riverside PA passed away Tuesday, May 26, 2015 at her residence. She was born August 27, 1947 in Danville PA the daughter of the late George F. and Theresa V. Black Lechner.

 She graduated from Danville High School and Bloomsburg University with a degree in teaching.

 Linda was employed by the Danville Area School District as a teacher at Liberty Valley Elementary for several years until her retirement.  She was also employed since 1988 at Beiter's Department Store Danville PA as a cashier and also Department Manager of the Craft Department.

 Linda's greatest enjoyment in life was teaching.  She was an accomplished seamstress and loved quilting.

 She is survived by four cousins; Melva Jean Vastine, Bob Linn, Joanne Linn and Kathy Linn; all of Danville PA.

 A Memorial Service will be announced at a later date.    Private burial was held at Odd Fellows Cemetery Danville PA
