Donna Mae Fry

October 17, 2015

Donna Mae Fry, 74, of 225 Reinaker Road Danville PA went home to be with her Lord and Savior Saturday, October 17, 2015 at her residence. She was born June 18, 1941 in Danville PA the daughter of the late Clarence R.  and Darlis J. Fasold Heimbach.  

She is survived by her husband of 51 years, Larry Edward Fry whom she married March 14, 1964. 

She graduated from Danville High School.  She was employed for over 40 years at Geisinger Medical Center Danville PA in Central Appointments from where she retired.  She was also a Mary Kay Consultant for many years.  Donna Mae also served in the Voting Office for Cooper Township.  She was a loving and dedicated homemaker.   

She was a member of First Baptist Church Danville PA where she served in the Bells of Joy Bell Choir.  Donna Mae thoroughly enjoyed her involvement with the Danville/Tri-County After 5 Club where she served faithfully in many positions with joy. 

Her interests included baking, sewing and ceramics. Donna Mae loved growing orchids, playing the organ and going to antique tractor shows with her husband.  She lived a selfless life, always putting her family and friends before her own needs  She loved spending time with her family, whom she adored. 

She is survived by two sons; Larry A. Fry, Sr. and his wife Terri of Bloomsburg PA and Kevin Fry and his wife April of Lehighton PA.  Also surviving are four grandchildren; Larry, Jr, Olivia, Koen and Amber.  She is also survived by one brother, Terry C. Heimbach of Danville PA.  Also surviving are numerous nieces and nephews.   

Relatives and friends are invited to attend funeral services to be held Tuesday, October 20,  2015 at 11:00 AM at First Baptist Church 20 Brookside Drive Danville PA (Off 642 East) with her pastor the Reverend Dr. Harry H. Wonderland officiating assisted by the Reverend Dawes J. Dunham.  Friends will be received from 9:00 AM until 10:45 AM. Burial will be held in Grovania Cemetery Cooper Township Danville PA.  The family will provide flowers.  Memorial contributions may be made to First Baptist Church of Danville or Stonecroft Ministries, Inc. 10561 Barkley Suite 500 Overland Park KS 66212 or www.stonecroft.org.
