Marjorie Louise Reinaker, 92

November 6, 2014

Marjorie Louise Reinaker, 92,  formerly of 203 Wall Street Danville, PA went home to be with her Lord on Thursday, November 6, 2014 at Columbia-Montour Home Hospice at Maria Hall, Danville, PA. She was born February 8, 1922  in Harrisburg PA the daughter of the late J. Robert and Mildred Strawbridge Storey. 

Marjorie was married for 30 years to William L. Reinaker who preceded her in death on November 27, 1978.  They were married January 11, 1948.

She graduated from John Harris High School in Harrisburg PA  in 1940 and from Bucknell University in 1944 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. 

Marjorie was employed as a medical technologist at  Danville State Hospital and Geisinger Medical Center, retiring in 1980.

She was a member of Shiloh United Church of Christ where she served in the Consistory and the Sanctuary Choir.  Marjorie was a former member of Business and Professional Women and the Danville Women's Club.  She served faithfully as a volunteer with the Red Cross Bloodmobile, The House of Care and the Geisinger Medical  Center Auxiliary.

Marjorie enjoyed knitting.  Her greatest enjoyment in life was spending time with her family whom she adored.

She  is survived by one son, Richard W. Reinaker and his wife Donna of Terrebonne Oregon and  two daughters:  Sharon E. Wintersteen and her husband Glen and Susan K. Dawson and her husband Thomas; both of Danville PA.  She is also survived by five grandchildren; Erica Benson, Scott Dawson, Corey Reinaker, Katie Reinaker and Kelly Reinaker and three great-grandchildren; Leah, Kaylee and Brady.  She is also survived by one brother, J. Richard Storey and his wife Ann of Williamsburg VA.  Also surviving are numerous nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to a Celebration of Marjorie's life to be held Monday, November 10, 2014 at 12:00 Noon at Shiloh United Church of Christ 500 Bloom Street Danville PA with her pastor the Reverend Mary B. Schmotzer officiating.  Burial will be private in Straub's Lutheran Cemetery Danville PA.  Friends will be received from 10:45 AM until 11:45 AM at the church.  The family will provide flowers.  Memorial contributions may be made to Shiloh United Church of Christ or Columbia-Montour Home Hospice 410 Glenn Avenue Suite 200 Bloomsburg PA  17815.
