Shultz, 81, of Danville PA went home to be with his Lord and Savior Tuesday,
February 11, 2014 at Columbia-Montour Home Hospice at Maria Hall in Danville
PA. He was born September 16, 1932 in Nescopeck PA the son of the late
Benjamin and Florence Bankes Shultz.
graduated from Nescopeck High School in 1951 and from Indiana University of
Pennsylvania in 1965 with a Bachelor's Degree in Education. Mr. Shultz
served honorably in the United States Army during the Korean War.
employed by the Milton School District for 27 years as a Special Education
teacher and Social Studies teacher, retiring in 1993.
He was a
member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Pottsgrove PA.
Shultz loved gardening and taking care of his flowers. He was especially
fond of his Irish Setters. His greatest enjoyment in life was spending time
with his wife and daughter whom he adored.
survived by his wife of 51 years, Alice Woodruff Shultz, whom he married
August 26, 1962. Also surviving is his daughter, Karla M. Shultz of Enola
PA. He is also survived by one sister. He was preceded in death by two
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Service to be held
Saturday, February 22, 2014 at 2:00 PM at St. John's Lutheran Church South
Mill Road Pottsgrove PA with his pastor, the Reverend Aaron Shearer
officiating. A private committal service will be held at the convenience of
the family. The family will provide flowers. Memorial contributions may be
