Anna Changlan Song

April 13, 2014

Anna Changlan Song, 54, of 14 Horizon Drive Danville PA passed away on Saturday, April 12, 2014 at Geisinger Medical Center Danville PA after bravely fighting against lung cancer for the past two and half years.  She was  born on February 27, 1960, in Zhangqiu, Shandong, China.

Anna came to the United States in 1987 to continue her education and graduated from Wilson College with an IT degree.  She was employed at the Selinsgrove Center in Selinsgrove PA. She was baptized in Shiloh Bible Church in Bloomsburg PA.  Anna loved music and dance. She organized a local community ladies dancing club, performed numerous times at the Chinese Spring Festival Gala at Bloomsburg University, as well as at local nursing homes. Her other interests included crocheting, gardening.

She is survived by her husband Youmin Lu, whom she married in 1983. Also surviving are two sons; Zhen and Eddie, who are both college graduates and presently employed.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend A Celebration of Anna's Life which will be held Wednesday evening, April 16, 2014 at 6:30 PM  at First Baptist Church of Danville, 20 Brookside Drive (off 642 East)  Danville  PA with the Reverend Dr. Harry H. Wonderland officiating. Friends will be received from 5:00 PM until 6:15 PM.  Memorial contributions may be made to First Baptist Church Memorial Fund 20 Brookside Drive Danville PA 17821.
