Isabel K. Fleck

June 8, 2013

Isabel K. Fleck, 93, of 1600 Bloom Road Danville PA passed away Saturday morning, June 8, 2013 at her home surrounded by her family.  She was born November 17, 1919 in Danville PA the daughter of the late John and Rhoda Derr Becker. 

She graduated from Danville High School in 1939.   

She was married for 58 years to the late Norwood Fleck who preceded her in death March 22, 1997.   

Mrs. Fleck was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church Danville PA and a lifetime member of the Order of Eastern Star. 

Mrs. Fleck enjoyed spending winters in Florida with her husband.  Her greatest enjoyment in her life was spending time with her family and her friends. 

She is survived by two sons; James N. Fleck and his wife Marcie of Boxford MA and Robert J. Fleck and his wife Mary Ann of Danville PA and one daughter; Margaret “Peggie” Warntz and her husband Larry of Danville PA.  Also surviving are her grandchildren; Chad and Guy Fleck; Lori Piekanski, Lisa Bowersox, Jennifer Albert, Cynthia Kahler, Stephanie and Christina Fleck, and Joy Stanton.  She is also survived by her great-grandchildren; Gregory and Nicholas Fleck, Owen Bowersox, Ryan Piekanski, Vincent Kahler and baby Albert who is due to arrive in October.  She was preceded in death by two brothers; John and Paul Becker and two sisters; Margaret Miller and Ella Louise Carodiskey.  Also surviving are nieces and nephews.   

 Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Isabel’s Life to be held Saturday, June 15, 2013 at 12:00 Noon at Trinity United Methodist Church 306 Lombard Avenue Danville PA with the the Reverend Ronald S. French officiating assisted by the Reverend Rayvon Hilliard and the Reverend Edmund Minnich.  Burial will be private in the Odd Fellows Cemetery Danville PA. Friends will be received from 11:00 AM until the time of service at the church.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Trinity United Methodist Church or Geisinger Hospice 100 N.
