Margaret “Marg” Deitrick, 83, of Danville PA passed away Saturday, August 4,
2012 at Geisinger Medical Center Danville PA. She was born July 2, 1929 in
East Petersburg PA the daughter of the late William Henry and Ruth Snyder
graduated from Danville High School in 1947. She was employed for many
years by the Danville Fidelity Bank. Marg retired as an assistant clerk in
the Treasury Department of Montour County.
was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church Danville PA and was a member of the
American Legion Women’s Auxiliary Post 40 Danville PA. Her enjoyments
included accompanying her husband Don going out to dinner and going to the
Casinos. She also enjoyed crossword puzzles. Marg’s greatest enjoyment in
her life was spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
survived by her husband, William Don Deitrick, Sr. whom she married November
24, 1990 at Trinity Lutheran Church Danville PA. She is also survived by
one son Scott A. Reilly and his wife Dusty of Muncy PA. Also surviving are
three daughters; Toni Marie Toomey and her husband Pat of Lancaster PA; Jan
Ellen Cosgrove and her husband John of Lancaster PA and Lori A. Reilly of
Danville PA. She is also survived by several grandchildren; Tami and J.B.
Newborg, Nathan and Heidi Hengst, Liam Hengst, Sabrina Roark, Becky and Ross
Gilbert, Lauren Cosgrove, Laila Colon, Carey Raleigh Kalvig, Nick Raleigh,
Scott Reilly II, Nicole Diehl, Adam Woll, Jessica Tom, Braylin Foresman,
Aaron Tom, Makenzie Hummer. Also surviving is one stepson, Robert Deitrick
and his wife Jan and their two children, Kimberly Deitrick and Jonathan
Deitrick of Collinsville OK. She was preceded in death by one son, Steve J.
Reilly and one brother Joseph “Sonny” Hogendobler.

Thursday, August 9, 2012 at 11:30 AM at Trinity Lutheran Church 209 Church
Street Danville PA with the Reverend Melody Sell officiating. Burial will
follow in Columbia Hill Cemetery Danville PA. Friends will be received from
9:45 AM until 11:15 AM in the small chapel of the church.
