Richardson, 75, passed away Saturday, June 25, 2011 at Geisinger Medical
Center Danville PA. She was born September 11, 1935 in Danville PA the
daughter of the late William W. and Henrietta Wray Wilt, Sr.
of Grandview Health Homes, Inc. for five years, she was very active while
residing there by attending many of the activities and serving on various
resident committees. Pearl was well known for her encouragement to others
while residing there with her beautiful smile, sense of humor, hearty laugh
and outgoing and uplifting spirit. She had a way of lighting up every room
she was in.
Danville Schools. She was employed by the Danville Silk Mill, Cabinet
Industries and retired as a psychiatric aide from the Danville State
Hospital in 1988. Pearl was a member of St. Paulís Emmanuel United
Methodist Church Danville PA and American Legion Post 40 Danville PA.
enjoyments included country music, knitting, bingo and she loved animals.
Other enjoyments included watching sports, especially NASCAR and watching
the TV soap opera, The Days of Our Lives.
preceded in death by her first husband, Jay Aucker and her second husband,
Earl Richardson. She was survived by two sons; Richard A. Aucker and his
wife Linda of Catawissa PA and Lester W. Aucker of Danville PA. She is also
survived by five sisters; Helen E. Longenberger and her husband Earl of
Catawissa PA; Norma Hinkleman and her husband Ron of Cogan Station PA; Donna
M. Vitale of Danville PA and Veda J. Straub and her husband Bill of Danville
PA and Patricia A. Keppler and her husband Patrick of Danville PA. She is
also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her husbands,
she was preceded in death by one daughter, Debra L. Reynolds in 2004 and two
brothers; James W. Wilt in 1996 and William W. Wilt, Jr. in 1997.
and friends are invited to attend funeral services to be held Thursday, June
30, 2011 at 1:00 PM at Visneski Funeral Home, Inc. 10 W Mahoning Street
Danville PA with the Reverend Dr. Donald N. Hurley officiating. Burial will
follow in Fairview Cemetery Danville PA. Friends will be received from
11:00 AM until the time of service. The family will provide flowers.
