Frances L. Loreman, 89

September 10, 2011

Frances L. Loreman, 89, of 21 D & H Avenue Riverside PA went to be with her Savior on Thursday, September 8, 2011 at her home while under Hospice care.  She was born March 18, 1922 in Kingston PA the daughter of the late William and Vinnie Bebb (Gulick). 

She attended Kingston schools before moving to Riverside PA.

Frances was an active member of St. Peter’s United Methodist Church in Riverside PA where she served as a Sunday school teacher, Vacation Bible School teacher, a member of the Church Choir and active in the Women’s Society.  She hosted many home Bible Studies until entering into the ministry with her husband.

On June 14, 1941 she married the late Reverend G. Edward Loreman and celebrated 68 years of marriage before he preceded her in death in 2009.  She shared her faith, love and commitment to her Lord while serving as a Pastor’s wife in many United Methodist Churches for many years.  Frances was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, who would put her family before herself and was always ready to help anyone in any way she could.

She is survived by one daughter Barbara Wands and her husband Ken of Danville PA and one son, David Loreman of Bloomsburg PA.  She was affectionately known as “Momoo” by her six grandchildren; Karen, Deborah, Ken Jr., Cate, Erin and Connie along with her 15 great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by two daughters; Connie Jean Loreman in infancy in 1958 and Alice Duttinger in 2006.  Also preceding her in death was a brother, Bill Bebb.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Celebration of her life to be held Wednesday, September 14, 2011 at 12:00 noon from The Visneski Funeral Home, Inc. 10 W Mahoning Street Danville PA.  Burial will follow in Elan Memorial Park Bloomsburg PA.  Friends will be received from 11:00 AM until the time of service.
