Robert L Pritchard

Robert L. Pritchard, 67, of 623 E Market Street Danville PA passed away Thursday morning, September 2, 2010 at Geisinger Medical Center Danville PA.  He was born  November 26, 1942 in Danville PA, the son of the late Harry E. and Isabel Everett Pritchard. 

He graduated from Danville High School in 1961.  Robert was employed as a psychiatric aide for 32 Ĺ years by Danville State Hospital Danville PA, retiring in November 1996.  An avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed hunting and fishing and especially enjoyed observing wildlife.  Robert also enjoyed tending to his garden and his lawn. 

He is survived by his wife Linda L. Leech Pritchard whom he married January 4, 1990.  Also surviving are two daughters; Leslie A. Pritchard and Traci L. Moser and her husband Christopher; both of Danville PA and two grandchildren.  He is also survived by two stepsons; John P. Timbrell and his wife Christy of Newport PA and Thomas L. Timbrell of Danville PA and one stepdaughter Kama C. Timbrell of Queens NY.  Also surviving is one brother, Harry W. Pritchard and three sisters; Patricia Peters, Ann Earlston and Susan Barnhart; all of Danville PA.   

A Celebration of Robertís Life will be held Tuesday, September 7, 2010 at 11:30 AM from Mahoning Presbyterian Church East Mahoning and Ferry Streets Danville PA with the Reverend Judson S. Bennett officiating.  Burial will be private at Fairview Cemetery.  Friends will be received from 10:00 AM until time of service at the church.  The family will provide flowers.  Memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society Montour Unit 1948 E 3rd Street Williamsport PA  17701-3945.  Arrangements are under the direction of Visneski Funeral Home, Inc. 10 W Mahoning Street Danville PA.  www.visneski.com
