Mahmut "Adam" Yumen, 87

Mahmut “Adam” Yumen, 87, of St. Petersburg FL passed away Saturday, February 6, 2010 at the residence of his son, Omar Yumen, M.D. Danville PA.    He was born January 1, 1923 in Istanbul Turkey the son of the late Galip A. and Nesime Yumen. 

He was married for 55 years to the late Sabahat “Sabby” Yumen who preceded him in death May 24, 2008.

Mr. Yumen enjoyed the company of his beloved wife and his granddaughters whom he adored.  He also loved fishing, soccer, and traveling the world. 

He is survived by his son, Omar Yumen, M.D. and his wife Judy of Danville PA.  Also surviving are two granddaughters; Lisa and Anna Yumen.  He was preceded in death by one brother and two sisters.  

Funeral services and burial will be private at the convenience of the family.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Geisinger House of Care 100 North Academy Avenue Danville PA  17822, Camp Victory PO Box 810 Millville PA 17846 or Danville Area Community Center 1 Liberty Street Danville PA  17821.
