Maryanne Miller, 56, of
348A Church Street Danville PA passed away Thursday, December 16, 2010 at
her residence. She had previously resided in Turbotville PA from 1978 –
2005 and in Denver PA prior to moving to Danville PA. She was born December
20, 1953 in Elizabethtown PA.
She graduated from Lower
Dauphin High School in 1971. She was a member of First Baptist Church
Danville PA. Maryanne enjoyed painting, creating floral arrangements, and
arts and crafts. She loved playing the harmonica. Maryanne was affiliated
with the Blind Association in Denver PA where she mentored and counseled
people who were losing their sight.
She is survived by one
son, David J. Miller and his wife Stephanie of Danville PA and two
daughters; Jeannie Maczuga and her husband Adam of Unityville PA and Aimee
Dreese and her husband Michael of Muncy PA. She is also survived by four
grandchildren; Keri, Brooke, Mitchell and Ella Mae.
A Celebration of
Maryanne’s life will be held Monday, December 20, 2010 at 11:00 AM at First
Baptist Church 20 Brookside Drive Danville PA (off of Route 642 E) with her
pastor the Reverend Dr. Harry H. Wonderland officiating assisted by the
Reverend Dawes Dunham. Burial will be private. Friends will be received
from 10:00 AM until the time of service at the church. Memorial
contributions in her memory may be made to The Blind Association and
sending to Susquehanna Foundation 244 North Queen Street Lancaster PA
17603. Arrangements are under the direction of Visneski Funeral Home, Inc.
