Jean E. Paisley

Jean E. Paisley, 88, formerly of 202 Evergreen Pointe Danville PA and Catawissa PA passed away Thursday, December 9, 2010 at Pembrooke Health and Rehabilitation Residence in West Chester PA.  She was born June 1,1922 in Shenandoah PA the daughter of the late Peter and May Donovan Mundy. 

She graduated from the J. W. Cooper High School in Shenandoah PA in 1940.  Mrs. Paisley was a devoted homemaker.   She was employed by the Catawissa Monument Company in Catawissa PA for many years.  Later in life, she was employed at the American Red Cross in Danville PA.  She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church Danville PA.   

She was married to the late William E. Paisley who preceded her in death November 15, 1987.  She is survived by one son, William E. Paisley, III of Reading PA and three daughters; Rosemary Carpenter-Smythe and her husband Thomas of Broomall PA; Karen Carpenter-Walsh of Malvern PA and Linda Paisley-Cuddaback and her husband Robert of Reading PA.  Also surviving are 11 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by one brother, Thomas Mundy and his wife Anna of Shenandoah PA.  Numerous nieces and nephews also survive her.  She was preceded in death by one daughter, Joan E. Deeter in 2000 and one sister, Lillian Onisick.

 Relatives and friends are invited to attend Prayer Services on Wednesday, December 15, 2010 at 12:00 Noon at Visneski Funeral Home, Inc. 10 West Mahoning Street Danville PA with the Reverend Steven W. Fauser officiating.  Burial will follow in Annunciation Catholic Cemetery in Shenandoah PA.  Friends will be received from 11:00 AM until the time of service.  Memorial contributions in her name may be made to either Pembrooke  Health and Rehabilitation Residence 1130 West Chester Pike West Chester PA 19382 or St. Joseph Catholic Church 18 E Center Street Danville PA 17821.  www.visneski.com
