Francis H. Feaster

Francis H. Feaster, 80, of 2008 Sunbury Road Danville PA where he has resided for the past 50 years passed away Sunday morning, May 2, 2010 at Sunbury Community Hospital Sunbury PA.  He was born September 25, 1929 in Riverside PA the son of the late Francis V. and Clarissa Cuthbert Feaster. 

He retired as a production supervisor by Merck and Company Riverside PA after 42 years of employment.  Mr. Feaster was an avid reader and also enjoyed carpentry and landscaping.  His greatest joy was spending time with his family. 

He is survived by his devoted wife of 61 years Shirley M. Garman Feaster.  They were married October 2, 1948.  Also surviving are three sons; Roger Feaster and his wife Tess of San Diego CA; Mark Feaster of Milton PA and Francis V. Feaster of Greenville IL and four daughters; Glenda D’Urso and her companion Todd Hendricks of Northumberland PA; Dee Embick and her husband James of Milton PA;  Melissa Keefer of Vestal NY and Amy Feaster of Milton PA.  Also surviving are twelve grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.  He is also survived by one sister; Darlis Garman of Sunbury PA.  He was preceded in death by one granddaughter , Kim Riggs and one brother Parvin Feaster and one sister Bea Butler.  Also surviving are several nieces and nephews.   

The family will receive relatives and friends from 12:00 Noon until 2:00 PM Friday, May 7, 2010 at Visneski Funeral Home, Inc. 10 W Mahoning Street Danville PA.  Inurnment will be private in The Columbarium at Odd Fellows Cemetery Danville PA.  The family will provide flowers.  Memorial contributions may be made to Thomas Beaver Free Library Memorial Fund 25 E Market Street Danville PA 17821.
