Mary F. Welliver, 79, of 640 Cameltown Hill Road Danville PA died Friday, July 17, 2009 at Geisinger Medical Center Danville PA.  She was born February 2, 1930 in Danville PA the daughter of the late Samuel A. and Pearl F. Summers Nuss.   

She graduated from Danville High School in 1947.  She was a member of Hendrickson Zion United Methodist Church Danville PA.  She was employed as a seamstress for many years by Danville Manufacturing Danville PA.    

She enjoyed gardening and flowers.  Mary’s greatest enjoyment was spending time daily with her two great-grandsons; Tyler and Mason.   

She is survived by her husband of 61 years Allen G. Welliver whom she married August 14, 1947.  Also surviving is one son Larry A. Welliver of Danville PA and two daughters; Bonnie A. Bond and her husband Phillip of Danville PA and Debra M. Hess and her husband Gary of Danville PA.  She is also survived by five grandchildren; Jeffrey Swartz and his wife Elizabeth, Amy and Jessika Welliver and Amanda and Jennifer Hess and three great-grandsons.  She is also survived by one brother James A. Nuss of Danville PA and one sister Helen Jean Funk of Riverside PA.  Also surviving are numerous nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by one sister Shirley I. Hicks in 2001.   

Relatives and friends are invited to attend funeral services Tuesday, July 21, 2009 at 11:00 AM with Reverend Marjorie B. Fisk officiating.  Burial will follow in Hendrickson Zion United Methodist Church Cemetery Danville PA.  Friends will be received from 9:30 AM until the time of service.  Memorial contributions may be made to Hendrickson United Methodist Church 350 Cameltown Hill Road Danville PA 17821.  Arrangements are under the direction of Visneski Funeral Home, Inc. 10 W Mahoning Street Danville PA.  www.visneski.com.
