Isabel Mausteller

Isabel Mausteller, 79, of Heritage Heights Apartments 50 First Street Danville PA died Tuesday, July 14, 2009 at Grandview Health Homes, Inc. Danville PA.  She was born March 1, 1930 in Danville PA the daughter of the late Charles W. Derr and the late Lucretia Nuss Derr Herr. 

She graduated from Danville High School in 1948.  Isabel was employed by Danville Manufacturing for 20 years.  She retired as a sales clerk for both Bea Butler Dress Shop and Deihlís Gifts, both located on Mill Street in Danville PA.  She was a member of Mahoning Presbyterian Church where she served as a deacon.  Isabel was a member of the Moose, American Legion Auxiliary and the Danjo Wheelers; all of Danville PA.  Her greatest enjoyments included crocheting and dancing with her friends. 

She was married for 51 years to the late Charles E. Mausteller, Jr. who preceded her in death July 11, 1999.  They were married June 26, 1948.  Surviving is one daughter, Ann Gianferante and her husband William of Riverside PA and two sons; David S. Mausteller and his wife Lucy of Danville PA and Charles E. Mausteller, III and his friend Denise of Catawissa PA.  Also surviving is one granddaughter, Lisa G. Hebert and her husband Neil of Charlotte NC and one sister; Jane Buehner of Danville PA.  Also surviving are several nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by one son, Dennis E., in infancy. 

Relatives and friends are invited to attend funeral services to be held Friday, July 17, 2009 at 1:00 PM at Visneski Funeral Home, Inc. 10 W Mahoning Street Danville PA with her pastor the Reverend Judson S. Bennett officiating.  Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery Danville PA.  Friends will be received from 11:00 AM until the time of service.  Memorial contributions may be made to the Mahoning Presbyterian Church 106 E Mahoning Street Danville PA 17821.  www.visneski.com
