A. Pauline Krum, 82

A Pauline Krum, 82, of 297 Orchard Drive Hemlock Township Columbia County Bloomsburg PA died Friday morning September 25 2009 at her residence.  She was born May 10 1927 in Montour County the daughter of the late Peter B. and Lillian M. Freas Styer.   

She graduated from Danville High School in 1944.   

Mrs. Krum was a member of Christ Lutheran Church in Buckhorn PA.  One of her enjoyments in life was playing the piano. 

She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Krum on June 21, 1993.  Also preceding her in death was one brother Paul C. Styer on October 10, 1997 and one sister Martha E. Stine on September 8, 1996.  She was also preceded in death by one nephew, Ray M. Stine on June 2, 1994. 

She is survived by one sister-in-law Nancy I. Styer of Danville, PA and nephews; Kenneth P. Styer and Kevin B. Styer and his wife Sharon, and one brother-in-law H. Myron Stine; of Danville PA and nephew Jay Stine .  Also surviving are two nieces; Janet Krum Critti and her husband Robert and Susan Krum Hartman and her husband Paul.  She is also survived by several great nieces and nephews.  Also surviving is her dog, Buster. 

The family would like to thank these caregivers during her illness, Brenda Woodside, Linda Stine, Ginger Spicher, Penny Hagenbuch, Susan Gill, Susan Brophy, Kathie Martin, Judy Novak, and Marie Morgan.  Other caregivers who helped earlier in her illness were Ann Walters, Judy Trayer, Norma Flick, Gloria Hons, Donna Martz, Diane Cooper, Dorothy English, Mary Jane English, Drew Smith, Bonnie Smith, and Mary Beth Endress.  

Relatives and friends are invited to attend funeral services to be held Tuesday, September 29 2009 at 11:00 AM from Christ Lutheran Church in Buckhorn PA with her pastor the Reverend Thomas E. Light, Jr. officiating.  Burial will follow in Columbia Hill Cemetery Danville PA.  Friends will be received from 10:00 AM until time of service at the church.

The family will provide flowers.  Memorial contributions may be made to either Christ Lutheran Church 74 Schoolhouse Road Bloomsburg PA or Columbia-Montour Home Hospice 410 Glenn Avenue  Suite 200 Bloomsburg PA  17815.  Arrangements are under the direction of the Visneski Funeral Home, Inc. 10 W Mahoning Street Danville PA.
