Margaret M. Holdren, 92

Margaret M. Holdren, 92, of 203 Clinton Street Danville PA died Friday morning March 14 2008 at Geisinger Medical Center Danville PA.  She was born July 31 1915 in Riverside PA the daughter of the late Harry E. and Elizabeth M. Patton Reinaker.

She was employed as a seamstress for many years by various local garment companies.

She enjoyed sewing, cooking and gardening.  Mrs. Holdren was a member of St. Paul’s “Straub’s” Lutheran Church Danville PA. 

She was married for 59 years to the late Stewart A. Holdren Sr. who passed away September 7 1996.  They were married May 29 1937.  She is survived by one son; Stewart A. Holdren, Jr. and his wife Linda of Danville PA.  Also surviving are three grandchildren; Kelly S. Fox and her husband Matthew of Easton PA; Nathaniel S. Holdren of Bozeman Montana and June Savage of Danville PA.  She is also survived by three brothers; Marr P. Reinaker, Harry E. “Elmer” Reinaker and Earl F. Reinaker; all of Danville PA.  Also surviving is one son-in-law William Savage of Danville PA and a special friend Beatrice Johnson of Danville PA.  Numerous nieces and nephews also survive her.  In addition to her husband she was preceded in death by a daughter Mary E. “Betty” Savage on October 9 2000.  She was also preceded in death by four brothers; Harold, Bruce, William and C. Donald Reinaker and one sister; Vera Morgan.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend funeral services to be held Tuesday March 18 2008 at 12:00 Noon at St. Paul’s “Straub’s” Lutheran Church 60 Frosty Valley Road Danville PA with her pastor the Reverend Thomas E. Light, Jr. officiating.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.  Friends will be received from 11:00 AM until the time of service at the church.  Memorial contributions may be made to the church.  Arrangements are under the direction of the Visneski Funeral Home, Inc. 10 W Mahoning Street Danville PA  17821.
