Kimberley M. (Shuman) McCormick, 28, of 203 Baldtop Road Danville PA went to
be with her Lord Friday morning, December 12, 2008 at Geisinger Medical
Center Danville PA. She was born February 11, 1980 in Danville PA the
daughter of John A. and Dianna M. Taylor Shuman of Catawissa PA.
She graduated from Columbia-Montour Vo-Tech in 1998. She had been employed
as a Chef at various local restaurants. Recently, she became a certified
nursing assistant and was employed at Maria Joseph Manor in Danville PA.
Kimberley attended Christ Wesleyan Church in Milton PA. She was active in
the La Leche League. She was an avid reader, enjoyed knitting and also
enjoyed motorcycle riding.
She is survived by her husband of five years, George P. McCormick whom she
married on February 16, 2003. Also surviving are two daughters; Payton
Jennifer and Kyra Anne, at home. She is also survived by one brother, Jack
D. Shuman of Catawissa PA. Kimberley is also survived by her maternal
grandparents; David and Romaine (Mattern) Taylor of Tampa FL. Several aunts
and uncles also survive her.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Kimberley’s
Life to be held Tuesday, December 16, 2008 at 11:00 AM at Christ Wesleyan
Church 363 Stamm Road Milton PA with the Reverend Arlie E. Davis
officiating. Burial will be in Elan Memorial Park Bloomsburg PA. Friends
will be received in the Prayer Chapel of Christ Wesleyan Church Monday
Evening from 6:00 – 8:00 PM and from 9:45 – 10:45 AM on Tuesday.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Susquehanna Valley Pregnancy Care
