Salvatore LaMarca, 55

Salvatore “Sal” LaMarca, 55, of 118 Upper Mulberry Street Danville PA and a resident of Danville since 2004 died Monday, November 5 2007 at Geisinger Medical Center Danville PA.  He was born May 15 1952 in Manhattan NY the son of the late Joseph and Angela Maria Giordano LaMarca.

He graduated from Bethpage High School in Bethpage Long Island NY in 1970 and Hofstra University in 1974 with a degree in communications.  Mr. LaMarca maintained prominent positions in the Telecommunications Industry for over 30 years.  He has been involved in all aspects of Management, Operations and Construction of Conventional Cable Televisions Systems, along with wireless and fiber optic delivery systems in the continental US, Puerto Rico, Mexico and Guatemala. 

Mr. LaMarca was part of the First Baptist Church of Danville family.  He enjoyed football, especially the New York Giants and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. 

He is survived by his wife Maria M. Quezada LaMarca and his two sons Joseph LaMarca and Salvatore Andre LaMarca, at home.  Also surviving are three daughters; Maria Kaufman, Susan LaMarca and Rebecca LaMarca.  He is also survived by one sister Connie A. LaMarca-Frankel and her husband David of Dade City Florida.  One nephew Matthew Frankel also survives him. 

A celebration of Sal’s life will be held Friday November 9 2007 at 11:00 AM in

Springer Chapel at First Baptist Church 20 Brookside Drive Danville PA with his pastor the Reverend Dr. Harry H. Wonderland officiating assisted by the Reverend David J. Mouw.  Burial will be private.  Friends will be received from 10:30 AM to the time of service in the Chapel.  Memorial contributions may be made to the family through the Fellowship Fund of First Baptist Church 20 Brookside Drive Danville PA 17821.  Arrangements are under the direction of the Visneski Funeral Home, Inc 10 W Mahoning Street Danville PA. www.visneski.com
