Resendorph, 84, of 40 Cherokee Road Danville PA died Monday evening October
29 2007 at Geisinger Medical Center Danville PA. She had formerly resided
at 316 Loller Road Hatboro PA, moving to Danville PA in 1991. She was born
June 6 1923 in Philmont PA the daughter of the late Orville C. and Rhoda B.
She graduated from
Upper Moreland High School in Willow Grove PA in 1941 and attended Lakeside
Business School for two years. Mrs. Resendorph was employed in the
Personnel Department of Fischer and Porter, Inc. in Warminster PA. She was
also employed as a secretary and bookkeeper for multiple businesses.
She was a member
of First Baptist Church of Danville where she was a member of the Adult
Fellowship Class. She also served as a teacher of the Open Door Ladies Bible
Study. Mrs. Resendorph was a former member of Faith Community Church
Roslyn PA where she was a member of the choir, Missions Committee and Sunday
school teacher. Along with her husband, she also served with the College
and Career group of Faith Community Church.
A devoted prayer
warrior, Mrs. Resendorph was diligent and faithful in praying for her
family, friends and missionaries.
She is survived by
her husband of 61 years Alan Resendorph whom she married May 15 1946. Also
surviving are two daughters; Lynn A. Wonderland and her husband the Reverend
Dr. Harry H. of Danville PA and Holly K. Babrick and her husband the
Reverend Kenneth E. of Wellington FL. Also surviving are seven
grandchildren; Jana and her husband Eddie; Derek and his wife Katie; Peter,
Tim, Joe, Priscilla and Mark. She is also survived by three
great-granddaughters; Jalyn, Elana and Alexa. Preceding her in death
were five brothers.
celebration of her life will be held Thursday November 1 2007 at 11:00 AM
from First Baptist Church 20 Brookside Drive Danville PA with her
sons-in-law the Reverend Dr. Harry H. Wonderland and the Reverend Kenneth E.
Babrick officiating assisted by the Reverend David J. Mouw. Burial will be
held Friday in Whitemarsh Memorial Park Ambler PA. Friends will be received
from 9:30 AM until the time of service at the church. The family will
provide flowers. Memorial contributions may be made to First Baptist Church
Missions Fund 20 Brookside Drive Danville PA 17821. Arrangements are under
