A. Styer, 61, of 902 Sunbury Road Danville PA died Wednesday, March 21, 2007
at Geisinger Medical Center Danville PA. She was born June 29, 1945 in
Exchange PA the daughter of the late Thomas H. and Beatrice G. Snyder
graduated from Danville High School in 1963. She was a member of the
Montour Antique Farm Machinery Collector’s Association (MAFMCA). Betty was
a NASCAR fan especially Rusty Wallace and was also a New York Yankees fan
and a Pittsburgh Steelers fan. She loved listening to Conway Twitty. Betty
was a homemaker who was actively involved with her children and
grandchildren. One of her greatest delights was attending their sports
events and being there for all of their activities.
survived by her husband of 39 years Robert M. Styer, Sr. whom she married
May 19, 1967. She is also survived by one son Robert M. Styer, Jr. and his
wife Joan of Danville PA, two daughters; Debra J. Smith and her husband
David of Halifax PA and Betsy A. Hans and her husband Larry of
Washingtonville PA. Also surviving are seven grandchildren; Trista,
Danielle, Sunni Jo, Rodney, Ryan, A.J. and Brittany; three
great-grandchildren, four step grandchildren and six step
great-grandchildren. She is also survived by two brothers; Thomas H.
Bostian, Jr. and his wife Maudell and Walter G. Bostian, Sr. and his wife
Vickie; both of Danville PA. Also surviving are three sisters; Ida Mae
Straub and her husband Calvin of Danville PA, Frances B. Bostian of Danville
PA and Alice K. Brobst of Bloomsburg PA. She is also survived by several
nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by one son-in-law Sonny
Guisewite and one step-grandson.
services will be held Monday, March 26, 2007 at 11:00 AM from the Visneski
Funeral Home, Inc. 10 W Mahoning Street Danville PA with Bonnie Wells of
Amazing Grace Ministries of Montgomery PA officiating. Burial will follow in
Trinity Oak Grove Lutheran Cemetery Liberty Township Montour County PA.
Friends will be received Sunday evening 6-8 PM and Monday from 10:00 AM
