Wayne D. Hill, 62,
of 25 Pepper Hills Danville PA died Monday morning, January 9, 2006 at his
residence where he has resided since November 2005 moving from Telford, PA.
He was born April 11, 1943 in North Wales, PA the son of the late Harvey W.
and Helen A. Fesmire Hill.
He served as a
Staff Sergeant in the United States Army during the Vietnam War where he was
highly decorated and received the Purple Heart. He was employed for over 25
years by Tri-State Hospital Supply in Montgomeryville PA and most recently
by J&T Excavating in Souderton PA. He was a member of the VFW in Red Hill
PA and also the American Legion in Pennsburg PA. Mr. Hill enjoyed fishing
He is survived by
his wife of 34 years Dolores Godshall Hill whom he married January 30,
1971. He is also survived by two sons; Ronald J. Godshall and his wife
Brenda Marie of Shamokin, PA and Troy A. Godshall and his wife Jennifer of
Telford, PA and one daughter Sheri L. Croll and her husband John of Danville
PA. Also surviving are nine grandchildren and one great-granddaughter. He
is also survived by three brothers and one sister. He was preceded in death
by one brother.
Celebration of his Life will be held Saturday January 28 2006 at 4:30 PM in
the Springer Chapel at the First Baptist Church 20 Brookside Drive Danville
PA with the Reverend Dr. Harry H Wonderland and the Reverend David J Mouw
officiating. Friends will be received from 3:30 PM until the time of
service. Burial will be private. Memorial contributions may be made to
