Mancinelli, 84, formerly of 664 Cricket Avenue Ardsley, PA died Monday
morning, March 13, 2006 at Geisinger Medical Center Danville PA. He was
born December 2, 1921 in Philadelphia, PA the son of the late Justino and
Carmella Urso Mancinelli.
attended Penn State University Ogontz Campus. He was employed as a
professional engineer by the Reading Railroad where he surveyed projects in
the Philadelphia and New Jersey areas, retiring in 1985. He was a former
member of the Fellowship Church in Philadelphia PA where he was a member of
the Menís Bible Class. Mr. Mancinelli served on the Abington YMCA Board. He
enjoyed walking, golfing, fishing, bowling and birdwatching. He was well
known for his amateur carpentry skills and was an avid tomato grower.
survived by his wife of 61 years, Grace E. Geissler Mancinelli of Emmanuel
Home in Northumberland, PA whom he married November 11, 1944. He is also
survived by two daughters, Nancy J. Klimchak and son-in-law Joseph J., Jr.
of Aliquippa, PA and Bette J. Eckel and son-in-law Timothy B., M.D. of
Danville PA. Also surviving are eight grandchildren and three great
grandchildren. He is also survived by two brothers; Thomas and Paul
Mancinelli. He was preceded in death by one brother Joseph Mancinelli and
one brother in childhood.
services will be held Thursday, March 16, 2006 at 3:00 PM from the Visneski
Funeral Home, Inc. 10 West Mahoning Street Danville PA with the Reverend Dr.
Harry H. Wonderland and the Reverend David J. Mouw First Baptist Church,
Danville PA officiating. Burial will be held Friday at 1:00 PM from the
Lawnview Cemetery Huntington Pike Rockledge, PA. Friends will be received
from 2:00 PM until the time of service. Memorial contributions may be made
