Nelson M. Foreman, 70, of 1070 High Street West Milton PA died Thursday morning, February 22, 2007 at Geisinger Medical Center Danville PA.  He was born March 10, 1936 in Forest Hill PA the son of the late Paul Foreman and the late Dorothy Grape Foreman Kremser and was also raised by the late Melvin A. Kremser, his stepfather. 

He was employed as a molder for 35 years by the Watsontown Foundry.  In 1986 his wife opened Foremanís Store located on Sodom Road Milton PA where Nelson could always be found socializing with their customers for 14 years.  He was a member of White Deer Charge United Church of Christ St. Paulís West Milton PA.  Mr. Foreman was a member of Loyal Order of the Moose 171 in Milton PA.  He enjoyed hunting, fishing, the outdoors and playing cards.

He is survived by his wife of 38 years Pauline M. Cohrs Foreman whom he married August 3, 1968.  Also surviving are three daughters; Sandy Miller and her husband David of Milton PA; Jo Ann Shallenberger and her husband Alan of Milton PA and Lisa Foreman and her fiancť Dustin Barnhart of Highspire PA.  He is also survived by four grandchildren; Melissa Day Houseknecht; Timothy Day, Jeremy Day and Kelli Eichenlaub and three great-grandchildren; Chloe Houseknecht, Allyson Houseknecht and Isiah Day.  Also surviving are two brothers; Lester Foreman of Milton PA and Donald Foreman of Lewisburg PA and one step-brother Dale Kremser of Sunbury and two sisters;  Irene Hummel of Northumberland PA and Della Alexander of Danville PA.  He was preceded in death by one son Dean Foreman in infancy in 1969; one great-grandson Ryan Pick in October 2006; two brothers Nemo Foreman and James Young.

Funeral services will be held Monday, February 26, 2007 at 1:00 PM from Visneski Funeral Home, Inc. 10 West Mahoning Street Danville PA with his pastor the Reverend Patricia A. Bennett officiating.  Burial will follow in Mt. Zion Cemetery Franklin Township Columbia County PA.  Friends will be received Sunday evening from 6-8 p.m. and Monday from 12:00 noon until the time of service.
